GREAT NORTHERN CAMPGROUND SEASONAL POLICY
OFFICE HOURS: Monday: 9 AM – 5 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday: Closed, Thursday: 11 AM – 7 PM, Friday: 9 AM – 9 PM, Saturday: 9 AM – 9 PM, Sunday: 9 AM – Noon

**ONE CAMPING UNIT PER SITE.**
COMMON SENSE & RESPECT FOR YOUR NEIGHBORS AND THE CAMPGROUND IS RULE NUMBER ONE!
SPEED LIMIT: 5 mph throughout the campground, including ATVs/UTVs and golf carts. Speeding will not be tolerated. Please drive carefully & watch for children.
ATVS/UTVS: ATVs/UTVs can be driven to & from campsite to access the trail/road, but are not allowed as transportation throughout the campground.
GOLF CARTS: Golf cart use in the campground is a privilege! Please be courteous and safe! Anyone without a driver’s license is prohibited from driving a golf cart. Golf
carts must be equipped with lights to drive at night. Great Northern Campground reserves the right to revoke this privilege.
GARBAGE: Do not leave trash at your site; dumpsters are located near the exit. Absolutely no furniture, appliances, landscaping materials, etc. in the dumpsters please.
Do not bring garbage from home to dispose of in the dumpsters. ABSOLUTELY NO BURNING OF GARBAGE!!
QUIET HOURS: Campers must be quiet from 11 p.m. to daylight.
CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for their children at all times. All minor children must be at their site by quiet time. No riding bikes after dark please.
PETS: Pets are an important part of your family. Well behaved and leashed pets are welcome. Owners are responsible for picking up after them and any damages caused by them. Please use the dog exercise area located along the southwest area of the property. Pets are prohibited at the playground, pavilion, and swimming pond areas. No
excessive barking will be tolerated!
VISITORS: Cars must be parked on your campsite – off the road. If additional parking is needed, please ask at the office. The parking lot by the office is limited to 15 minutes.
SWIMMING POND: No lifeguard on duty! Swim at your own risk! Small children must be accompanied by an adult. No glass please in swimming pond/pavilion/playground area.
GAMES: GaGa balls and volleyballs are located in the wooden box by the GaGa pit. Cornhole bags are located in the pavilion. Horseshoes are located in the horseshoe
pit. Please help yourself to these games, but please return items to their respected places when finished for others to enjoy.
CAMPFIRES: Fire rings are provided for your campfires. Firewood is available for sale at the office. Do not use gasoline to start fires. Use extreme caution where you dispose of cigarettes and matches as pine needles are very dry. Absolutely no burning of garbage or food scraps. Do not cut trees or branches in the campground. If trees need to be trimmed, please ask us to take care of.
SHOWERS: We offer showers for our guests. A donation of $2.00 per shower would be much appreciated. They are located on the north side of the office building. Please deposit money in box near showers. Please limit your time in the shower as we are on a holding system. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you in advance.
CELL PHONES: Cell phone reception is quite limited. We do offer cell phone boosters for our customers, so that cell phones can be used at any time if needed. One is located near the bench on the south side of the office building. The other is located near the bench next to the GaGa ball pit near the playground.
SITE MAINTENANCE: The upkeep of your site is your responsibility unless you purchase the lawn maintenance plan. Please keep lawns mowed & free of debris no later than on a biweekly basis. A maintenance fee may apply if Great Northern Campground cares for a site that has been neglected. Be aware that you need permission from Great Northern Campground prior to making changes, updates, or landscaping your site. Items such as gravel, trees, shrubs, or anything deemed by Great Northern
Campground as permanent becomes campground property. Make sure you get permission prior to changing the original layout of sites.
WATER USAGE: Please limit washing of campers to a minimum and not on weekends or holidays. Washing of automobiles is prohibited. According to state regulations, all water spigots must have a vacuum breaker. All sites have one installed. If your vacuum breaker is missing when the health inspector visits, you will be charged $10 for a replacement.
AIR CONDITIONERS: Please turn off air conditioners when leaving for extended periods of time.
ABSOLUTELY NO GROUND DUMPING OF GRAY OR BLACK WATER ALLOWED! Dump station is located near the exit or pumping is available. Inquire at the office.
WIFI: We do offer a WIFI hotspot near the office. Please limit your time so others can use it. Please no streaming.

NO FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, WEAPONS, OR EXPLOSIVES OF ANY TYPE.

THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE IS TO HAVE FUN!
Camping is an amazing adventure & outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give refunds due to weather, discomfort of nature, or leaving early.
The owners assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss on the premises. The owners/management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any person(s) who willfully create a disturbance to others, with no refund. The owners/management reserves the right to make any change in camp policy at any time, if deemed necessary.

Most sites are back-in sites.
One-day deposit required on reservations.
Cancellation policy: 14 days (2 weeks).
We do require a credit card on file for any incidentals
All no-shows will be charged in full for original reservation dates to the credit/debit card on file
